Yoruba language is a unique language, with rich culture and traditions. A lot of parents in the 90’s refused to teach the language and culture to their children, which is really affecting the ways of life of today’s youth. They see their own language as archaic, while embracing the foreign language and culture.
Foreigners coming to Nigeria to learn our language, culture and traditions, should be a wake up call for us, so in future we will not have to pay them, to learn what began with us.
