About Catherine

Hi, my name is Cat. I'm entering 18th grade as a second-year medical student. There is nothing I care more about than students because it's who I am. Through lots of hard work, I went from a subpar science student in high school to the top of my class in college. As a medical student, I've received top honors in 7 of my 9 courses all while working a part-time job, sleeping eight hours per night, and hanging out with friends. I'm not exceptionally smart, but I figured out how to learn, which is what I will teach you to do.

About the lesson

Your mindset will be changed through working with me. I promise you will get so much out of working with me if you put in the time, focus, and energy. I will make you more productive, positive, and a better test taker. In the first lesson, I will help you create a system and schedule for learning each topic. The reason we begin with creating a system is because systemization leads to standardization, and standardization leads to optimization. My study system has allowed me to graduate college with a 4.0 GPA as a premedical student. More importantly, the system let me spend less time studying so that I could spend more time doing the other things I love. I've read hundreds of books on the most effective studying techniques, and I will teach them all to you so that your grades improve, and you can spend more time doing the things you love to do. I know that anyone can learn science if they are guided by the right teachers. If you are struggling in high school biology or can't seem to crack the code on your college chemistry course, I'm your girl. I will invest every part of myself into your learning. I will shape my lessons to your learning style. I will show you how to connect different topics in your mind and build a cognitive scaffold each time you study.
