I am a dedicated nursing student with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others succeed. My approach as a tutor is to make math simple and actually understandable, not just something you memorize. I use clear, step-by-step explanations, start with examples, then guide students through practice before letting them try independently to build confidence. A typical lesson includes a quick review, learning a new concept in simple terms, working through problems together, and ending with practice and a recap. As a nursing student, I’m used to breaking down complex ideas in a clear and patient way, and I adapt to each student’s learning style without judgment. My lessons are best for middle and grades 9 & 10 students, especially those who feel stuck, need help preparing for tests, or want to build confidence in math.
