About the lesson

I am keen to utilise my spare time in assisting students reach their full potential in a subject that could provide them with numerous career opportunities or even just enhancing knowledge. I would like to support students who need that little bit more attention in helping them understand the fundamental principles of law. Once these are understood, I’m fairly confident that any student can achieve their desired results in academia. As being a student my self I understand that when good application and real life examples is given not only does this create a more enjoyable lesson, it boosts students self esteem and confidence. As being a former teacher abroad I carry the skills and experience needed, I am confident that I can provide realistic/practical advice to students seeking a career in either subject.

My teaching style involves guiding students to the answer rather than simply presenting them with the solution. I can help reshape your way of thinking so you can apply what we go through in the session to similar questions, allowing you to maintain the knowledge and skills for much longer. All of my tutoring sessions are planned and prepared bespoke to the individual needs of the pupil. Aswell as being able to help with the main understanding of the subject itself, I can provide specific help for AQA and OCR exam boards. This would be ideal for students who are looking to master their exam technique such as how to structure long response questions for a top band mark or even just knowing what the exam board is looking for. I am confident with this understanding students can achieve top level marks.
