About Helen
I am 21 years old. I grew up on a farm in KZN. I struggle at school to find the right way for my to learn and study and I didn’t always enjoy school. That is why I want to teach others in order to show learners different types of learning styles that are fun and creative and not necessarily the “traditional” ways of learning and remembering information.
I am currently studying at the University of Pretoria and hope to be a teacher when I am finished because I want to help learners see the fun and interesting side of learning new things and show them that school can be fun.

I like to teach concepts and content through games. This creates a positive association to work that is being learnt.
I like to draw pictures to create visual associations. I love to be creative with learning. Therefore, I like to use lots of colours, pictures/ diagrams and drawings to share my knowledge. I try my best focus on individuals interested and strengths to create fun and creative individualized lessons.
Although I am I visual learner I am able to adjust my way of learning to that of the person I am teaching.
