I know that every person can learn and improve in maths, because it is what I did myself. My journey was from struggling with simple concepts in primary school to achieving a 1st class degree in mathematics from the University of York (with an A at GCSE and an A* at A Level along the way).
I can take you along the same journey of improvement and self-belief.
I have been a maths teacher for 10 years, since graduating from university and am very practised at helping learners grow and improve.

Dialogue is the key to learning and it will be so in our lessons.
In our lessons, we will discuss the meaning of the concepts behind the topic and how to apply them to solve problems. You will tell what you do and don't understand I will help you to understand better and give you guidance in practice until you no longer need the guidance and can practice problems independently (with help when you need it).
Lessons will range from 45-60 mins.
I am an experienced, specialist mathematics teacher. I have a 1st class maths degree. I have taught maths for 10 years, from year 7 up to Further Maths A Level and can support you and help you learn and grow in confidence at whatever level.
