I have experience teaching both Junior and Leaving cert maths within the Irish curriculum and KS3, KS4 and KS5 within the British curriculum. I am in a unique and advantaged position of being able to take learnings from both learning styles and methods from both teaching in both the Irish and British curriculum and offer a flexible, well-rounded approach to my teaching
As a qualified teacher I understand how students learn, and I am aware of common misconceptions across the curriculum.

As I conduct lessons online. I will ask the student in advance to clearly outline what topic/questions they would like to receive help with.
I then prepare questions differentiating in difficulty from easier to harder style questions to guide and challenge the student.
As a qualified teacher who works with students every day I recognise the misconceptions across various topics. My approach is to break each question into manageable steps helping the student understand the WHY behind each and then gradually progress to harder questions.
