About Luxi
I’m a Secondary School Maths Teacher with a degree in Mathematics, and I went into teaching because nothing motivates me more than seeing students grow in confidence. I’m patient, I take my time, and I’m not afraid to dig deep to find exactly where things aren’t clicking. I’ll always go above and beyond to make sure my students feel supported, capable, and proud of the progress they make in maths.

I teach in a clear, step‑by‑step way using a Bronze–Silver–Gold system, so students can build skills slowly and then move on to harder problems with confidence. I focus a lot on understanding the language of maths, spotting key words, breaking down exam questions, and knowing what the question is really asking. My lessons are varied and I link topics together so students keep seeing ideas in different ways. I set regular homework to strengthen what we’ve learned, and I always make sure students are exposed to different styles of questions so nothing feels new or scary in exams.
