About Pietro
Secondary School senior leader with a passion for Computing and technology. Have had highest results within the school but also trust level at KS4 and 5 Computing/IT. I am very much a sporty person, with my main passion being football in which I play for two football teams on a Saturday and Sunday. Equally I do strength and weight training 5 times a week at the gym. Other than sports, I spend a lot of time looking at new technology and assessing how different elements function.

My lessons are usually planned in accordance to my students needs and abilities. My lessons are fast paced to ensure maximum engagement and concentration is achieved from all students, with relevant collaboration to promote sharing ideas and building students communication skills. I always plan to use a variety of AFL techniques to assess the learning but also remove any misconceptions that may have appeared. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the transformative power of education, emphasizing a student-centered approach that nurtures a lifelong passion for learning. I aim to create an inclusive environment that encourages critical thinking and personal growth. By blending direct instruction with interactive activities and collaborative learning, I cater to diverse learning styles and foster independence. Formative assessments and constructive feedback are key, as they guide students in their academic and personal development, preparing them to become thoughtful, engaged global citizens.
