About Alvaro
I come from an academic family, hence some of the fundamental values that I believe in are: knowledge and truth.
My formal education starts with a Bachelors degree in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, continuing with a MA in Mathematics from UC Santa Cruz and a PhD in Mathematics from University of Maryland.
My teaching experience starts from my household since my mother was an Elementary school teacher, continuing on to tutoring at all levels of my education and a career as a University Professor for 15+ years.
I have participated in many different educational projects, including a Science Museum in Baja California.
My professionalism is top class!

My 30+ years of research and teaching experience allows me to adapt my teaching skills so we can come up with a lesson plan that meets your specific goals.
I can teach/tutor most Mathematics and Physics topics from High School onwards (up to some Graduate work).
I am a native Spanish and English speaker, hence my lessons/tutoring can be done in either language.
Because of my physical location, I can only do online tutoring.
