About Ken
My degree is in Physics. I worked and taught geophysics/mathematical applications for more than 35 years in the oil exploration industry. I have been doing maths tutoring since June 2017. I have a QLD blue card for working with children. I have mentored for maths in a Gold Coast high school (voluntary work) and for primary school aged children in an after hours tutoring centre.

I am happy to teach "catch up" maths (and normal grade maths), with plenty of checking and repetition. A flexible approach to the students learning style and ability is important.
Younger children, especially, need to see that maths can be fun and relevant with the use of maths games and challenges.
