About Hollie
I am a SEND teaching assistant willing to tutor students up to GCSE level in mathematics. I offer online lessons that focus on improving confidence and reaching the best of your abilities. I believe everyone learns differently, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student. I have GCSE and A-level qualifications in maths and further maths, and a CertHE in maths and physics from the University of Exeter. Over the past few years, I have tutored students from Year 5 to Year 11 with varying levels of starting maths knowledge. I am DBS checked.

We will have an initial consultation to find what areas you need help with and make a rough lesson plan from there. Lessons are heavily student-led, and students can bring in homework or questions from class that they feel they need extra help understanding. I will provide practice questions on relevant topics that we can work on together in the lesson. If you wish, I can provide additional questions to work on in your own time, and we can discuss the methods and answers in the next lesson. The typical lesson length is 1hr but we can discuss longer lessons if you wish.
