About Garv

I'm a Senior Data Analyst based in Sydney with 7 years of hands-on experience across SQL, data warehousing, and business analytics. I've worked across consulting, fintech, property, and higher education — building everything from ETL pipelines to executive dashboards used by hospital and finance leadership.
I teach SQL the way I wish I'd learned it — with real datasets, practical scenarios, and zero jargon overload. Whether you're just starting out or trying to level up for a job switch, I'll meet you where you are and get you to where you want to go.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is learning and mastering basics first. Then as per your appetite proceed to gaining intermediate and advanced skillset. I prefer to teach my students 30-35 % theory and rest practical and numerical examples. I prefer to explain theory with real world examples for developing better understanding and creating clearer logics and concepts.

In online learning during these COVID situations, it was very difficult to catch up with the online learning. But my experience with Mr. Garv was different. He is expert in his domain and maintained a friendly environment in the class and encouraged me to participate actively in the discussion. All the discussion makes it better to understand the topic and learn everything quickly. He has strong knowledge of statistics and math. He makes sure that you understand every topic from scratch.
