About Lianys
I am a current senior applied computational physics student currently applying for a graduate degree in astronomy and astrophysics. Over the course of my degree I have developed skills in higher-level math, physics, and programming. Additionally, for the past 2 years, I have conducted astronomy and computational astrophysics research in preparation for my career in academia. Throughout my undergraduate career, I have presented my research at multiple conferences across the country and internationally. I have both experience teaching and tutoring from various jobs where I taught after-school STEM courses for elementary and middle school students.

As an applied computational physics senior, I have a variety of expertise in physics and coding. I also have research experience in computational astrophysics which allows me to apply my physics and coding skills to real mysteries in the universe.
I also have several years of experience working as an afterschool teacher for elementary and middle school students in a variety of math and science subjects.
Due to my skillsets, I am able to tutor elementary STEM course work, middle school STEM course work, and Highschool level math and physics course material. Including higher-level high school AP Math and Physics courses.
