About Dakota

I have worked as a software developer for almost 10 years and have launched numerous features used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. Highlights include a real-time auctioning app, a recurring subscription payment service, an internal admin support portal for customer support agents, a migration from Ember to React, and a hand-rolled server-side rendered website with sub-second render time. During my time at the University of Waterloo, I tutored programming privately, in addition to being a teaching assistant for Computational Physics classes. I often work in a mentorship role at my current workplace, helping other developers in front-end paradigms.
