Candace is a great teacher, one of the best I’ve had. She really knows how to keep you engaged and encourages you to keep on trying. She will do her best to make sure you get it as long as you work with her. Not only is she a great teacher but a great person, anyone would be lucky to be taught by her.

Years ago, I had the pleasure of being a student of Ms.Trencher’s. It’s thanks to her that i found my love of math, and in turn, i’m currently in college studying electrical engineering. She always did an amazing job of challenging you in a way that you won’t only just progress and become stronger in the subject, but also help you grow that constant will to be better.

Candace makes math fun and easy by breaking down hard concepts into simple steps. Her clear explanations and positive attitude keep the class engaged, and she’s always patient and helpful. She makes math enjoyable and easy to understand!

I have worked with Candace for nearly 10 years—we were Math co-teachers in middle school—and in that time, I witnessed nothing short of miracles in her classroom.
Students love Candace and, in turn, love math! Her approach is to encourage learning through immersive experiences: She focuses on comprehension and understanding fundamentals of math, critical thinking, and above all, how it all connects to her students real world.
She also explains mathematical concepts through creative approaches to the subject. Her classes are filled with rigorous content, disguised as fun activities that bring out each student’s joy in learning.

Candace is responsible for me attaining my current position. Since I met her she has been a mentor and a friend. Candace truly cares for the students and their education. She is always there to lend a helping hand or give advice when needed. She knows how to connect with students on a different level. Having her work with you would be a great asset!

I am a math teacher- but also worked as Candace’s colleague and then supervisor. I can tell you without reservation she is one of the most incredible math teachers I have known. Ms. Trencher was a mentor to me and taught me so much about being an effective teacher. Her math skills are unparalleled. She’s patient, knowledgeable, caring and most importantly loves teaching math. Nothing compares to the feeling she gets when one of her students grasps a concept, she often says. Candace is an incredible teacher who knows all her stuff, but specifically knows how to explain and teach it in a simple but encouraging way that even a preschooler would be able to understand it. I highly recommend her!!
