About Toya
"The sound of a perfectly tuned guitar signals the start of a productive session. I spent 7 years coaching students on lead guitar, fingerpicking, and ear training.
Music theory feels much lighter when applied to real songs. I help bedroom producers and beginners find their flow.
Working with 106 students taught me that everyone learns differently. My goal is a repeatable process you can use for years.
I focus on maintenance, tuning, and songwriting to keep you playing. Sometimes we stop to talk about perspective or lyric writing. You will eventually arrive at the songs you want to play."
