About Jacyln
I was a schoolteacher in Singapore, trained in Singapore Mathematics. I taught in schools for 8 years before moving to Vancouver, BC.
Now I am based in BC and have been teaching Singapore Math to local young students. My regular students enjoy my lessons as I break down complicated concepts into simpler terms. Students find my teaching approach interesting and allows them to understand mathematical concepts well at a deeper depth.

Students are grouped according to their learning pace/ability. New registrations are to write an assessment to determine their math levels so she/he could be recommended to a suitable group.
Lessons are pitched at customized pace of each group. Materials used follows closely Singapore Math curriculum in Singapore and lessons materials are based from Singapore.
Pictorial and Abstract, Inquiry-based approach are highly emphasized.
