About Colin
Music director of university musicals, former chapel and church choir singer, and former a capella performer! Participated in the New Jersey all-state choir, opened for Michael Feinstein in a small group, and played different roles in over 20 musicals. I love music and love seeing the look on a student's face when they realize how much more they can do than when they started, but I will never work towards that at the expense of your enjoyment of our lessons or your love of the music you're making! It's a team effort here and I can't wait for us to play this beautiful game together.

Whatever genre you're trying to sing in, nothing is more important than taking the right breaths and using them effectively. We'll always start with some breathing exercises to tune into that space, then will move onto a series of legato and staccato practices that will help with tone, comfort, and range. For the latter half hour, we will work on whatever music you want to learn right now, how to sing it, and what it means for you as a performer. Happy to work with people who have never sung or experienced musicians who want to improve range and stamina!
