About Samantha
I’m Samantha! I’m a songwriter, vocalist, and guitar player from Los Angeles. I attended Musicians Institute and The Songwriting School of Los Angeles where I studied voice, guitar, and songwriting. I’ve been releasing my music and building my audience for around 7 years now. I often perform in LA with my band at places like The Mint, Hotel Cafe, Molly Malone’s, and The Viper Room.
I have 3 years of experience teaching students of all ages. My teaching methods depend on the goals and needs of each student - whether that be singing Disney princess songs with a young student who wants to gain confidence or helping an artist prepare for a show with a more serious approach. My work experience outside of teaching music includes behavioral therapy, caregiving, and childcare! I incorporate what I’ve learned from these fields into my work as a music teacher. As an artist myself, all of my students keep me so inspired to continue pursuing my dreams. My number 1 priority is making sure students are getting what they want out of the music lessons—whether that be a space to express themselves and have fun or something they are pursuing very seriously.
