About Lanita
Technical precision is simply my baseline for vocal work, yet I find that clear communication makes the hardest concepts feel manageable. Throughout 6 years of coaching, I have worked with performers who need to master pitch control and rhythm while navigating complex phrasing. My practice focuses on sight singing and harmony work to ensure you understand the foundation of the music.
Belting technique and vibrato control are essential for stage presence, just as breathing control defines your stamina during a long set. I currently hold a Master of Music in Vocal Studies from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. After many years performing in the studio and on stage, I have settled into this role because I enjoy watching singers find their sound. I keep things grounded and musical.

Focusing on progress you can actually hear means your time here is spent doing rather than just talking. You will find that our time together centers on tone and resonance, ensuring you build habits that last well beyond the practice room.
We incorporate microphone technique early on so that you feel comfortable with the reality of live performance. Because I prioritize exam preparation, you receive 10.0 out of 10 in terms of structural guidance for your specific goals.
I provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice so your progress continues between our meetings. This consistency helps you build muscle memory quickly. It is quite a joy to hear a student finally lock into a difficult harmony or nail a tricky breath sequence during these sessions.
