About Amelia
I am a dedicated and reliable sixth form student who is looking to pursue a career in astrophysics and mathematics. I am genuine, friendly and hardworking, with 3 years of experience in volunteering and a genuine love for teaching as a Sergeant in army cadets and delivering academic lectures for all ages. I am very eager to offer individual, catered support to students so they can achieve their best results too. For my own achievements, I have been awarded ‘Best In School’ (Gold) in the UK Maths Challenge and Bebras Computing Challenge consistently for 4 years and am a proficient programmer in Python.

I offer online or in-person GCSE and KS3 support in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Further Maths and Computer Science. Due to recently finishing my GCSE exams, I have fresh knowledge of what is required of the course, so I am prepared to deliver immersive and interactive lessons aimed at remembering key points without overwhelming students with information. This will be catered to the student’s specific needs as an individual, playing to their strengths and focusing on areas for improvement while consistently providing constructive feedback. Along with time management, there will be a strong focus on mastering specific exam technique and structural methods through practice exam questions, which are ultimately the strongest tool for success in GCSE. However, when advising on revision, I encourage and help students to find the method that works for them - I have a genuine will and passion in assisting students to do their very best in exams, focusing on individual potential, significant progress and reaching target grades rather than simply expecting 9s. In-person support is limited to residents of Salisbury, Wiltshire.
