About Ashley
I have been a sixth-grade math teacher for three years. With the pandemic, I have mastered the ability to teach virtually through utilizing multiple resources and strategies for the most effective lessons. I also have my masters degree in STEM education which allows for unique activities to encourage real-world problem solving. I thrive in creating trusting and comfortable relationships with my students to ensure accurate progress and confidence in the growth during the sessions.

I believe in moving slower to go faster. My lessons analyze the students current progress and help to re-correct any missing gaps they may be experiencing. I use the lessons to consistently apply past information to keep the skills up to date to the current curriculum they need to be learning. As an educator, I implement this process on a daily basis. The lessons will be targeted towards math instruction for grade levels 1 - 6. I can also aid in seventh grade curriculum as well.
