About Theo
I am a dedicated Guitar tutor with 15+ years of experience, and my greatest motivation is seeing students grow through music. I teach High School and College students and have successfully taught around 300-350 learners. Teaching hundreds of students has been a significant milestone in my career and has helped me become a stronger and more understanding educator.
I believe every student can make progress with the right guidance. I create a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing, asking questions, and trying new techniques.
My lessons include chords, scales, rhythm, strumming patterns, finger techniques, music theory, song learning, and performance skills. I explain each concept in simple steps and use practical exercises to help students build confidence.
I encourage students to learn songs that match their interests. This makes lessons more enjoyable and gives students a clear reason to practice regularly.
Teaching 300-350 students has taught me how to work with different learning styles. I have learned that some students need repetition, some need demonstrations, and others need additional challenges. I adjust my teaching accordingly.
The most rewarding part of my career is watching students overcome difficulties. Their progress, confidence, and excitement when they achieve a goal remind me why I am passionate about education.
I encourage students to set realistic goals and focus on steady progress. I teach them to understand that mistakes are part of the learning process and that patience is essential.
I also want students to gain personal skills through music. Guitar can help develop creativity, discipline, focus, patience, perseverance, confidence, and independence.
My goal is to make every lesson positive and inspiring. I want students to enjoy learning Guitar while developing the skills they need to continue their musical journey.
I am proud of the hundreds of students I have taught and grateful for the lessons they have taught me as well. I look forward to helping many more learners discover their confidence and creativity through Guitar.

My Guitar teaching methodology combines technical development with musical expression. I believe good Guitar playing requires both accurate technique and the ability to communicate musical ideas.
I begin with Communication to understand the student's experience, musical interests, goals, and learning preferences. I encourage students to express their ideas and ask questions.
I use Adaptation to Learning Styles through demonstrations, chord charts, listening examples, written explanations, repetition, and practical exercises. I adjust lessons according to individual progress.
I use Real-life Examples and Case Studies from songs, performances, improvisation, and songwriting. Students learn how technique affects rhythm, tone, melody, dynamics, and musical expression.
My Guitar lessons include chords, rhythm guitar, strumming, fingerstyle, picking, scales, lead guitar, improvisation, music theory, ear training, songwriting, and performance skills. Related subjects include Music Theory, Songwriting, Ear Training, Rhythm Training, Music Appreciation, Basic Composition, and Music Performance.
I encourage students to experiment with dynamics, rhythm, melodies, tone, and improvisation. I provide feedback on both technical accuracy and musical expression.
My goal is to help students become expressive Guitar players who can combine strong technique with creativity, confidence, musical understanding, and their own developing style.
