About Patrick d'Alliance

I am an Online Languages teacher who has taught Swahili for more than 3 years for young or adult classes that were about 15 to 30 learners, and from my courses, many students have advanced in other Swahili classes while others use it in their daily life.

About the lesson

I am also a bachelor holder in languages; majoring in Swahili, I teach young and adults that language. My teaching methodology is based on "learning by doing." principle where my students are facilitated to practice a lot what they're learning during the learning session. My lesson is structured by an introduction where I introduce the lesson or I help students to review what we learned previously, then get into the lesson's main part and lastly evaluate. I also use videos and pictures to illustrate what is talked about.

Perfect! Patrick is a fantastic Swahili teacher. He is extremely prepared, very patient, and happy to answer questions. He also had loads of supplementary material that he was happy to pass along if I was struggling in any particular area. Although he does have a well-organized lesson plan, he's also happy to amend things as needed if you have particular areas you'd like to learn more in. I would absolutely recommend him!

I know Patrick as a colleague but also he taught me French at my young age, helping me and giving me opportunities to practice my spoken French with him. Due to him now I can express myself well in French and watch French films and news on television. He later interested me in studying Swahili by getting to know basic Kiswahili words and the meaning of Swahili songs like "binti kiziwi " and others. I am still learning Swahili with him and for sure with Patrick you will succeed to know Swahili perfectly.
