About Mahya
Hi, I’m currently studying for a Master’s degree in Psychology, with a special focus on working with children. I started playing chess when I was seven years old, and the game has played a powerful role in shaping my thinking, focus, and emotional growth. Over the years, chess has helped me in many areas of life—from building patience and confidence to developing strong problem-solving skills. My teaching approach is student-centred, supportive, and designed to adapt to each learner’s needs. I offer lessons in both English and Farsi, aiming to create a fun, inclusive, and encouraging environment where every student can truly thrive.
