About Norman
Originally from Ireland, I've lived in Perth and Darwin and now Sydney is home. My day job is an environmental engineer and I founded my own consultancy in March 2019. I currently work on large overseas construction projects so when I'm in Sydney I have some down time with my new son and in my spare time I drum.
I'm a current member with Pipe Band Club Sydney (International Grade 2 competing ensemble).

First, we must understand what it is the Student wants to achieve?
[a] to competitively play i.e. solo or within a band
[b] improve rudiments / technique
[c] have fun
Once we establish the goals we map out how we get there and set in targets and goals within a specific time-frame.
I don't use sheet music and will use auditory and visual methods to help develop the Students.

Additional Travel cost of 10km from Lane Cove. Travel cost will be agreed prior to lesson.
I offer discount rates for groups i.e. 2 persons @ $35pp / hr, 3 persons $30pp / hr, 4 persons $25pp / hr
Group offers: 5 - 8 persons minimum charge out time is 2 hours with a package cost of $360
Group offers: 8 - 12 persons minimum charge out time is 3 hours with a package cost of $500
Other bespoke packages available upon request.
