About Mina
As someone who has seven years of experience as a private math tutor, I have had the privilege of experiencing how impactful the learner-tutor relationship is. I have seen individuals go from having deeply internalized academic doubt to believing in their own problem-solving brilliance and leading outstanding academic careers. That transformation is always a thrill to witness and what keeps me passionate about education.

I lead with empathy because I know learning math likely has a lot of emotional and mental baggage. You can expect that at the beginning of the lesson, 1) we'll quick chat to get an understanding of what the goals are and acknowledge where the tutee is with the material, 2) a review of relevant concepts, and 3) working through problems or verbally demonstrating subject comprehension. This will be the basic format for all lessons but tailored to where give time to building a strong foundation of math skills.
