About Derek
I am a full stack software engineer developing web applications for the past 10 years.
I work on .Net Web Application with an agnostic view towards front-end frameworks which I have experience in React, Vue and Angular.
I am also an AWS Certified Associate Solutions Architect with which I have used my learned skills to develop Web application solutions hosted serverless on the AWS platform with code written in Node.
I have experience with both Relational and NoSql Databases
My interests outside of work are in clean code and software design patterns and love to pass on the knowledge I have gained to others.
I am new to tutoring but have been a mentor to a number of graduate engineers at every company I have been at and find it a rewarding experience.

Lessons will be curated around a goal that you are trying to reach such as achieving a grade in a class or improving your skill leven within a certain language, with the primary focus on those who are at university or new to software engineering.
First lesson would revolve around exploring this and building a plan to meet those goals with further lessons carrying out the plan to meet your end goal.
Learn by improving your understanding of the underlying concepts of software engineering and putting these to use within problem solving senarios.
Lessons will take place via Google Meet with timings primarily in the evening beginning from 4pm on Weekdays
