About Georgios
About Me I am a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for design, problem-solving, and helping others understand how engineering really works. Over the years, I have worked on a wide range of real projects — from CNC-machined components and composite parts to functional prototypes built with 3D printing and laser cutting. As a Certified SolidWorks Professional, I know how to take an idea from a simple sketch all the way to a production-ready model. What I enjoy the most, however, is sharing this knowledge with others. My goal is not just to teach you how to use SolidWorks, but to help you think like a designer: structured, confident, and creative. Students describe me as patient, clear, and genuinely invested in their progress. I always adapt to each person’s pace and learning style, making lessons enjoyable and easy to follow. Whether you want to start from zero, improve your technical abilities, or prepare for a university or work project, I’m here to guide you step by step. What motivates me is seeing students grow — when something “clicks”, when a complex concept suddenly makes sense, or when a 3D model they created finally comes to life. I believe that anyone can learn CAD with the right structure, support, and a bit of fun along the way.

️ About My Lessons – Teaching Approach
My teaching style is practical, structured, and fully adapted to each student’s level. Whether you are opening SolidWorks for the first time or preparing for advanced modeling projects, I guide you step by step with clear explanations and real engineering logic.
⁍ Teaching Method
I start by understanding your goals:
• Do you want to learn SolidWorks from zero?
• Improve your 3D modeling skills?
• Create technical drawings for university or work?
• Understand assemblies, mates, simulations, or design-for-manufacturing?
Based on that, I build a personalized learning path.
Every lesson combines short theory, hands-on practice, and small mini-projects so you understand why you do something — not just how.
⁍ Typical Lesson Structure
1. Quick review of previous material
2. Introduction of the new topic with simple explanations
3. Live modeling together, step by step
4. Student practices on their own while I guide
5. Short recap + homework exercises (optional)
My lessons focus on real examples and mechanical design reasoning, so students gain confidence fast.
⁍ What Sets Me Apart
I am a SolidWorks Professional–certified engineer with years of experience in real engineering projects, manufacturing, and prototyping. This means I don’t teach “button clicking” — I teach how engineers actually think, design, and solve problems.
Students learn not only the software, but also:
• How to avoid common modeling mistakes
• How to model parts that are manufacturable
• How to create clean sketches, relations, mates, and organized feature trees
• Best practices used in industry
⁍ Who the Lessons Are For
• Absolute beginners who want a clear and friendly introduction
• Engineering students who need help with CAD assignments or project work
• Professionals who want to upgrade their skills for work
• Makers, hobbyists, or entrepreneurs building prototypes
• Advanced users who want to structure their workflow and improve efficiency
I adapt the pace to each student and make sure every session is meaningful and easy to follow.
Optional Hands-On Prototyping Experience
For students who want to see their designs come to life, I can also guide you through the practical side of engineering. My small workshop is equipped with tools such as 3D printers, a CNC machine and a laser cutter, which allows us to explore how a digital model becomes a real physical part.
This gives students an opportunity to learn:
• how to prepare CAD files for manufacturing,
• how design decisions affect real-world production,
• how tolerances, materials, and processes behave,
• and how to evaluate and improve a prototype.
This part is optional, but many students find it inspiring and highly educational since it connects CAD theory with real engineering practice.
