About Mindi
Holding a Bachelor of Popular Music from Griffith University is just the start of my path. Having spent 13 years in the industry, I write and record daily while teaching others how to find their own voice. My work connects with beginners, working musicians, and career switchers who want to build their catalog.
I really enjoy helping singer-songwriters find their point of view. It is important to me that I keep things grounded.
I have worked with so many students over the years. We focus on the craft of structure and genre conventions. You get the benefit of a seasoned creative in your corner. I keep my energy steady and chilled during our time together.

Practical writing leads to the best outcomes for students. I emphasize finishing tracks rather than leaving them as fragments in a notebook.
You can expect to handle title development, hook creation, and top-line writing in a direct way. We will spend time looking at pop, country, folk, or R&B conventions to see what works.
Bringing an idea to the session means you leave with a demo in hand. My degree informs how I break down complex structures like verses and bridges for you.
Collaboration is a huge part of what we do here. I want you to feel confident in your creative process by the time we wrap up. You will leave with a finished piece of music. My approach ensures you stay focused on your specific goals.
