About Lara
I take pride in creating a structured yet supportive learning environment where students feel both challenged and encouraged. I'm a 17-year-old new tutor and student aspiring to be a teacher like my mum with two cats and a dog. I grew up with ADHD, which has taught me several different learning styles and struggles and encourages me to engage students as much as possible and make learning fun. I hold myself to high professional standards, arriving prepared, organized, and ready to adapt to different learning styles. By maintaining open communication with students and parents, I ensure progress is visible and measurable, building trust and confidence in the learning journey.

I struve to use a student-focused teaching style that combines clear explanations, guided practice, and interactive discussion, adapting methods to suit each learner’s needs and goals. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, though shorter sessions are available for younger students or targeted revision. I hold a Diploma in Business, and love supporting learners across prep-10 in all subjects.
