About Ted
I am a Spacecraft Engineer with a Masters in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. I discovered my passion for the space industry at university which was built on my fundamental understanding of the pillars of maths and science. I believe with good teaching and enthusiasm any student can grasp these fundamentals as I did. I really enjoy teaching and helping students to achieve their academic goals so that they can work in an industry they enjoy as I do.
I have a very strong knowledge of the subjects I teach and I am able to effectively explain the concepts which are essential for understanding the more difficult subject areas. I am also no stranger to exams, so I have experience of the best exam technique and optimum preparation. When I am not engineering or teaching my hobbies include sailing, golfing and playing the saxophone. I'm a friendly and patient person and I look forward to getting in touch.

My approach focuses on firstly understanding the core principals of each chapter before then practising with multiple questions and repetition. More difficult variations of questions will then be tackled to improve speed and understanding. Once the course material has been covered with any flaws ironed out, I then focus on exam preparation which is crucial to consolidate and hone the students knowledge and skills.
