About Lily
I am a 23-year, London-based, graduate. I studied Modern Languages and European Studies at the University of Bath with a Year Abroad. I spent 6 months working as a Product Marketing Intern at Jaguar Land Rover in Madrid and the other half studying at the University of Parma in Italy. During my time in Madrid, I also tutored English (equivalent of GCSE level) and on my return to the UK took up GCSE Spanish tutoring. I studied Spanish, French, Maths and Economics at A-level and received grades AABB respectively, and 10 A*'s at GCSE (including Spanish and French). I regularly return to Spain and Italy (mainly for the food) and I know how daunting it can be to learn a foreign language, but with the right tools and a bit of confidence, it's not as hard as you might think!

I am multilingual and have lived and worked in both Spain & Italy + I'm a recent ex-languages student (so I know the drill). All lessons will be taught in the target language and tailored to each student, based on level (GCSE/A-level), syllabus and exam board. We will focus on exam technique (listening, reading, writing, oral), key essay frameworks and spoken language sentence structures. Spelling, grammar and tenses will also be key focus points. We will review past papers and practice exercises with similar structures and that cover key topics and themes outlined in the syllabus. These sessions will hopefully build each student's confidence and a desire to continue learning a foreign language. Sessions will be interactive and can range from 30 minutes to an hour.
