About Clara
My interest in Spanish grew from a fascination with language, culture, and international communication. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages and later earn a PhD in Hispanic Language Education. During my 11 years of teaching experience, I have worked with learners at many different levels.
I believe successful teaching requires patience, adaptability, and genuine encouragement. My lessons are designed to help students develop confidence while building practical language skills. I enjoy creating meaningful learning experiences that keep students motivated and engaged.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy studying Hispanic culture, reading Spanish literature, and participating in language exchange communities. These activities help me bring authentic cultural insights into lessons. Supporting students as they become confident Spanish speakers continues to inspire me as an educator.

My Spanish lessons help students develop practical communication skills while building strong language foundations. We work on grammar understanding, vocabulary growth, pronunciation improvement, listening skills, reading practice, and conversation development through engaging and structured activities. I believe active participation is the key to successful language learning.
As students advance, we explore more complex sentence structures, cultural topics, authentic materials, idiomatic expressions, and real-world communication situations. Lessons include discussions, listening exercises, roleplays, and interactive tasks that help learners use Spanish naturally. Each lesson is adapted to support individual learning goals.
I create a supportive atmosphere where students can practice confidently without worrying about mistakes. My goal is to help learners become comfortable communicators who can use Spanish effectively in academic, professional, and personal situations. Every lesson encourages steady growth and greater confidence.
