About Phoebe
I am a Spanish secondary school teacher and a UL graduate with a Bachelor's in Applied Languages (Irish and Spanish) who also lived in Madrid, Spain, and attended Universidad de Antonio Nebrija for Spanish Language and Culture. It is also worth noting that I am fluent in Irish so I am capable of teaching classes through Irish if the student attends an Irish medium school/if requested. I have prior experience with one-on-one lessons and I am also accustomed to doing grinds outside of school.
If you have any particular struggles with the language or how to study it, I have plenty of resources to help and guide you! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any inquiries!

Lessons for any level of Spanish are available, including students in 3rd level education as well as students sitting their Junior Cycle or Leaving Certificate exams, either in an English or Irish medium school
I will ensure to cater and prioritise a student's needs in lessons, whether that be by practicing their oral skills, going over grammar, preparing for exams or any other areas within the language that the student needs assistance with
All grinds will be an hour long (this excludes the first lesson. The first 30 mins is free of charge and will be to get to know the student, their academic level and what areas they would like to focus on). Lessons will also be carried out through the Superprof website.

I studied with Phoebe in UL, and shared classes and lectures with her for 4 years and have seen first hand just how hard working she is! She is a trustworthy and loyal friend, with great competencies in Irish, Spanish and German. I’m sure her experience in her languages combined with the masters in education that she’s currently undertaking, will make her an amazing tutor! :)
I studied with Phoebe at the University of Limerick and we had classes together for four years. She is extremely competent in her chosen subjects and is always positive, enthusiastic, helpful and patient. Therefore, I am sure that she will do a wonderful job as a tutor and that her students will benefit greatly from her teaching.
Phoebe is a great friend, I would highly recommend her as a tutor! She is a very friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working individual.
