About Wren
My passion for Spanish began through an interest in language, travel, and cultural exchange. This enthusiasm inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages followed by a Master’s Degree in Hispanic Studies. During my 8 years of teaching, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and learning levels.
I believe successful language learning requires patience, encouragement, and practical application. My teaching style focuses on helping students develop confidence while building strong foundations. I enjoy creating lessons that are interactive, supportive, and tailored to individual learning needs.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading Spanish literature, exploring cultural history, and engaging with international language communities. These experiences allow me to bring authentic perspectives into lessons. Helping students become confident Spanish speakers while enjoying the learning process is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students use the language naturally in everyday situations. We work on pronunciation, vocabulary building, grammar foundations, listening skills, sentence formation, and conversation practice through structured yet engaging activities. I believe language learning becomes easier when students actively use what they learn from the very beginning.
As learners progress, we explore verb conjugations, idiomatic expressions, cultural topics, reading comprehension, and practical communication scenarios. Lessons often include dialogues, role-playing activities, listening exercises, and guided speaking practice. Every session is adjusted to match individual goals, helping students develop confidence while improving steadily.
I create a welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. My goal is to help learners communicate clearly while gaining a deeper appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures. Each lesson encourages growth, consistency, and greater confidence in using the language independently.
