About Tonya
Graduating with an MMus degree might seem like an unusual path for a Spanish teacher, yet my communication skills translate across disciplines seamlessly. I have spent 3 years guiding students through business Spanish, accent improvement, and complex verb conjugation.
My experience includes working with 178 students who range from absolute beginners to advanced speakers looking to refine their travel Spanish. Building vocabulary and reading comprehension remains central to how I structure our sessions. I am absolutely confident that we can get you speaking with clarity.

There are 8 minutes of dedicated conversation in our first meeting which helps me assess exactly where you stand. We will navigate through everyday phrases for beginners or focus on the nuances of accent and intonation that make your speech sound natural. Offering a free trial lesson to assess your level is how I ensure that our time together will be productive and effective from the very start.
