About Zia
I have 13 years of experience teaching Spanish, and I hold a Master’s Degree in Spanish Language Education. My interest in languages began early, and Spanish became a strong focus as I continued learning and exploring communication across cultures. Over the years, I have taught students from different backgrounds and levels, helping them build strong language skills through clear explanation and structured learning.
My teaching approach is calm, adaptable, and student-focused. I understand that each learner has a different pace and style, so I take time to adjust my teaching methods accordingly. I focus on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging students to practice speaking regularly, which helps them gain confidence and fluency over time.
Outside of teaching, I continue improving my language skills through reading, listening, and exploring Spanish-speaking cultures. This allows me to bring real-life examples into my lessons and keep them engaging and meaningful. Teaching Spanish is very fulfilling for me because I get to see students grow from beginners into confident speakers. Supporting their journey and helping them achieve their goals gives me a strong sense of purpose and satisfaction.

My Spanish lessons are designed to help students understand the language clearly while building confidence in communication step by step. I focus on important areas such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure. Each concept is explained in simple English so students can understand easily and apply what they learn without difficulty. I include speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities in every lesson so students can develop complete language skills in a balanced way.
I personalize each lesson based on the student’s level so that learning feels comfortable and well-paced. Beginners focus on basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple sentence formation. Intermediate learners work on improving grammar accuracy, conversation skills, and listening understanding. Advanced students focus on fluency, expression, and using Spanish naturally in different situations. I provide clear corrections and consistent guidance to help students improve steadily without feeling overwhelmed.
As students continue learning, they become more confident in using Spanish in real-life situations. They begin to understand conversations more easily and express their ideas clearly with less hesitation. Over time, they develop independence in communication and feel more connected to the language and culture. My goal is to help learners use Spanish naturally and confidently in everyday life, whether for travel, study, or personal growth, while building strong communication skills that last long term.
