About Ilaria

Hola!

I’m Ilaria, a dedicated Spanish tutor with experience teaching beginner and intermediate students of all ages.

I am patient, friendly, and professional, and I create a comfortable environment where learners feel confident to speak and make mistakes. I love helping students gain real communication skills while enjoying the learning process.

My lessons are tailored to each person’s goals, whether for travel, work, or personal enrichment. With a structured yet flexible approach, I ensure that every student makes progress and builds confidence in Spanish.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on practical use of the Spanish language. I combine conversation practice, grammar exercises, reading, writing, and cultural insights to help students understand and use Spanish in real-life situations. Lessons typically last one hour, with packages and trial sessions available. I adapt the pace and content to your level, focusing on beginners and intermediate learners.

I emphasize speaking and listening skills, while also strengthening reading and writing, so students make steady progress and feel confident communicating in Spanish.

I met Ilaria through common friends, and, as a fellow ESL teacher, I can say she is extremely prepared and reliable. I am confident that she will tailor her classes according to the students' needs and won't disappoint! She has solid experience as an English teacher in London, as well as online. Besides that, she is extremely sociable and always puts a smile on her face to make students feel at ease. Hence why I would totally recommend her!

I really enjoy classes with Ilaria, she explains things so clearly and her knowledge of the subject is much better than any other teacher I have had. She’s so patient and I don’t feel embarrassed to try and make mistakes because she corrects me and motivates me.
