About Edwar
I am relatively new to learning Spanish, I have done it for two months so far. However, I used to teach English to high school students back in my country (Ecuador) for about 6 months so I could develop experience and skills at tutoring.
Currently I teach Spanish at an intermediate level to college students as part of activities of the Latin American society at my University.

The most important for me is to know in the first place what you want and need to learn. If you are starting from scratch I would help you progress systematically at a pace you feel comfortable with, and if you have previous experience with the language, I would help us identify the specific areas of the language that you might be interested in learning or improving.
As a foreign student in London, I had once to learn foreign languages, so I know what difficulties a student may find and how to approach them. One thing I could find about learning languages, is that perhaps the best way is by doing so while simultaneously engaging in an area of interest, such as art, literature, film, music, etc, taking the lessons not only with a coursebook, but also with additional activities that captivate your attention. Personally, when I was learning German I loved to read adaptations of texts of the likes of Goethe at a level that I could understand, as well as listening to music. I am sure we could find something you feel attracted to and entertained by while learning Spanish.
