About Aida

I am a qualified language teacher with international teaching experience in both France and the United States. I have worked as a Spanish language assistant in French secondary schools and vocational education centres, as well as a university-level Spanish instructor at Smith College and Indiana University in the US.

I hold degrees in Translation and Interpreting and English Studies from the University of Córdoba, as well as a Master's degree in Secondary Education Teaching. I have also pursued postgraduate studies in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.

Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of different ages, backgrounds and proficiency levels. My academic background and international experience have given me a strong understanding of language learning and the ability to adapt my teaching to each student's individual needs.

I am passionate about languages, literature and education, and I particularly enjoy helping students gain confidence and become more comfortable communicating in Spanish.

About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are tailored to each student's level, interests and learning goals, whether you're a complete beginner, looking to improve your conversational skills or hoping to develop a deeper understanding of the language.

I take a practical, communicative approach to teaching, combining speaking and listening activities with grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing exercises. I particularly encourage students to use Spanish in real-life situations, helping them build confidence and develop fluency naturally.

I also provide personalised feedback on pronunciation, written expression and common grammatical mistakes. Depending on your level and preferences, lessons can be conducted entirely in Spanish or with additional explanations in English.

Above all, I aim to create a friendly, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and progressing at their own pace.
