About Cora
I’m a multilingual professional with experience in teaching that has lived in different countries like Spain, Germany, France, England and the US.
I do one thing really, really well: listening and communicating to people form different countries, cultures and backgrounds thanks to traveling, working and having to adapt in various countries culturally different from one another.
Not only I am native in Spanish and Catalan, and highly fluent in English and German, but I also have experience in leadership, tutoring and coordinating students.
Ever since I started tutoring elementary and intermediate level English and advanced level Spanish to children and adults, I have been passionate in my commitment to three things: maximizing and continuously inspiring individual student performance, instilling a sense of self-worth among students, and increase their engagement using technology.
Throughout the months, we worked intensively to improve English and Spanish conversational skills through conversation, reading activities, games, and computer activities. As I consider myself a lifelong learner, I was always reviewing their progress as well as finding new ways to increase it. By the end of my work with them, their language skills had greatly improved.

I hold a B.A in Translation and Interpretation. During my years at university, I taught elementary and intermediate level English, and advanced level Spanish to both children and adults. I organized, planned, designed and prepared all materials later used in class. Also, when teaching, I enjoyed motivating and encouraging the students to continuously improve their performance and speak the language that was being told. I feel that nowadays, in school, when teaching a foreign language, conversation doesn't seem important. I always ecourage students to talk the language and I correct thme while they speak.
