About Emily
I moved to Arizona from a rural part of the Midwest in 2016 and started working in the food industry. I quickly realized that a large percentage of this industry was Spanish speaking and in order to be a well contributing member of my team, I needed to learn some as well. I purchased books & apps and began teaching myself. After three years of self teaching and retaining the language fairly well. I decided to pursue an AA SPANISH degree at my local college. Since then I have continued to learn, have visited Mexico various times and continued to find things that interest and amaze me about becoming bilingual. I am now married and we are teaching our daughter Spanish as a first language!
