I love learning Spanish to other people. When I plan lessons, I always listen to students: what they want, what they need and how they need it! It is important to listen to each student so that each student can enjoy learning in many different ways.
I have worked as a teacher 7 years ago with some levels and people: groups, home language, tutoring ...
LESSON:
During the lesson I usually do:
- A little vocabulary that we can practice in different sentences.
- A little grammar: first I write some information about the subject and later we use the grammar. I like to mix the grammar that we have studied with other grammar that we have already studied. This is important because otherwise students often forget the above if they do not practice it.
- Reading comprehension: we read a text. Sometimes we answer questions, sometimes we need to match the text with something ...
- Writing: we write a few sentences during the lesson but I also like to do something else like a short text, to write sentences that are related to the grammar or maybe to another topic. (A text can also be homework)
- Communication: we describe pictures, we talk about texts, we comment on news ...
