About Jeanna
I am a native Spanish speaker, originally from Colombia but an East coaster at heart. I've lived in Halifax for the past 10+ years, I graduated from Saint Mary's University with a bachelor's in global business management and currently living in Cole Harbour with my two fur children and my husband. My biggest accomplishment is to see the students' progress and to see them meet their learning goals, not forgetting to have fun in the process.

I offer after-school tutoring to help students with their homework, concept clearing, projects, test & quizzes, presentations, and pronunciation.
If you are looking to sharpen your speaking abilities, I'll be more than happy to practice with you and help you improve and become more fluent. For instance, if you are planning a trip to a Spanish-speaking destination, my mission is to focus on providing the most relevant vocabulary and proper pronunciation of words, which will allow you to get more out of your travels.
If you are a beginner, sessions will consist of an introduction to basic but essential vocabulary, grammar structures, and proper pronunciation of words and common expressions.
Tutoring sessions details:
-online tutoring (zoom, Microsoft Teams, Facebook chat, skype)
-Private, one-on-one: In your home or at a public place that is convenient for you.
-Available evenings and weekends.
