About Mary
Hi, there! My name is Mary, and I can’t wait to meet you! I have been teaching since 2004. I have loved helping my students to get excellent writing, speaking, and reading in Spanish.
I am from Venezuela and have been living in Houston since 2013. I have a bachelor’s degree in business systems Engineer, and 15+ years of work experience in different Business areas. However, my passion is being a teacher, tutor, advisor, etc.
I started in the Education area as a tutor during my 5 years of studying at “Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua”. After my graduation, I was hired as a University Professor. I worked there and at other universities for about 5 years in subjects related to Computer and Spanish, during this period I got a Professional certification as a teacher.
In 2015, I worked as a Spanish teacher with Coloquia Languages, in Commonwealth Elementary School, and Colony Meadows Elementary School, both located in Sugar Land.
I work now as a Spanish tutor Online 1-1 for students of all ages and levels.
I am a responsible and friendly person, my teaching style is didactic, organized, flexible, and interactive. You will get customized Spanish lessons based on your age, experience, and interests. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
I have been teaching Spanish for a few years, my students have gone on to develop a deep love of Spanish culture, study abroad in Latin America, and more. Within the first few lessons, you’ll start speaking simple sentences and as time goes on, you’ll be able to conjugate like a pro. I use tools according to your interests.
