About Carroll
Language learning feels like opening a door to a new room where you finally understand the architecture of the conversation. I believe that immersion is the goal, so we utilize conversational fluency as the baseline for our sessions. You might practice business Spanish one day and then look at the differences between Latin American and Castilian variants the next. I provide weekly conversation practice recordings that we review together to ensure your accent and intonation are hitting the mark.
We move through travel Spanish, exam preparation for the DELE, and deep dives into verb usage. It feels less like a dry classroom and more like a creative workshop.
I draw on my experience to keep the energy high and the rhythm consistent throughout our time. My goal is to make the entire process feel like an engaging cultural exchange. You will find that these sessions are genuinely enjoyable.

People often come to me when they need to bridge the gap between textbook grammar and actual real-world communication. I started teaching these traditions years ago, and now I have 319 students taught globally.
My own path as a self-taught guitarist and native Spanish speaker informs how I view language. It is about rhythm, context, and expression.
I am a neurodivergent-affirming teacher who keeps things moving and lighthearted. Whether you are a working professional or a kid starting out, we find the best path for your brain.
My 13 years of experience in the music industry actually help me teach verb conjugation in a way that sticks. It is really just like learning a new musical sequence.
I am happy to chat if you want to see if we are a good match for your goals. My background is in the vibrant, rhythmic traditions of Latin America. I bring that same cadence to how we work through vocabulary building and listening practice.
