About Joni

I have 10 years of experience teaching Spanish and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and Hispanic Studies. I focus on guiding learners through a supportive, interactive, and culturally rich environment where language skills develop naturally and confidently.

Throughout my career, I have taught students at all levels, helping them achieve conversational fluency, academic success, or professional communication. I emphasize practical language use, immersive activities, and structured guidance tailored to each learner’s goals and strengths.

Teaching Spanish is incredibly rewarding because it allows me to support students in communicating with confidence, understanding cultural nuances, and building a connection with the Spanish-speaking world. I aim to inspire learners to continue exploring the language independently, fostering a lifelong love of Spanish and its culture, and empowering them with communication skills for every context.

About the lesson

Spanish lessons with me focus on practical language use, communication, and cultural exploration. I structure lessons according to the student’s proficiency level. Beginners concentrate on pronunciation, essential phrases, basic grammar, and simple conversation. Intermediate learners expand vocabulary, sentence complexity, conversational fluency, and comprehension skills. Advanced learners refine professional and academic communication, idiomatic expressions, writing, and critical reading, preparing for exams or real-world applications. Lessons incorporate exercises, dialogue practice, and immersive activities to reinforce learning and retention.

The goal is for students to gain fluency, self-confidence, and cultural knowledge.
