About Rodrigo

I am originally from Peru, but have been living in Germany since 2016. I completed my schooling at a German-Peruvian school and have been in contact with German culture since I was a child. I studied biology at the TU Dresden and am currently in the 2nd semester of my master's degree. I am currently working in botany as a research assistant. I started tutoring during my school years. I found subjects like history and biology the most interesting. During my studies I always wanted to offer Spanish tutoring, but didn't have the time. But now I am! I am new to Superprof and am willing to offer my help.

About the lesson

According to Mark Manson: A conversation (with a native speaker) is better than 5 hours of language lessons or 10 hours of learning the language on your own.

Having a conversation with someone is a complex thing. It's a mixture of listening, understanding (what the person is saying), preparing the answer in your head and expressing that answer orally. A language is not something you memorize. A language needs to be processed.

It is my pleasure to recommend Rodrigo, who has proven to be an exceptional German language instructor. Throughout his tenure, he has effectively combined innovative teaching methods with a deep understanding of German grammar, enabling his students to grasp complex linguistic skills clearly and effectively. His ability to explain intricate grammatical concepts in an accessible manner is particularly noteworthy. Moreover, Rodrigo always approaches teaching with kindness and a strong commitment to his students' success, creating a welcoming and productive learning environment. I am confident that any student of German would greatly benefit from his instruction.
